Itching to try out VLC Media Player for Android? It’s now available for download although it’s still in beta so expect a little bump here and there, but the good thing is that it’s now available.
The beta version will run on the following chipsets: ARMv6/ARM11, ARMv7a/Cortex-A8/NEON and ARMv7a/Cortex-A9, so better check out what your phone’s chipset is before installing it.
The beta is made for those running Gingerbread and Android’s latest, Ice Cream Sandwich.
VLC has been a regular fixture for those who love watching movies on their computer and with its availability on the Android platform, movie buffs may now also enjoy the same flexibility on their mobile phones.
